I’ve got a pen…

“I’ve got a pen and I’ve got a phone — and I can use that pen to sign executive orders and take executive actions and administrative actions that move the ball forward,” Obama said at a recent cabinet meeting. What he didn’t say was such actions are diametrically opposite of the intent of the Founders of our Republic.

Obama’s use of his pen and telephone to bypass Congress is treason. Treason is simply, giving aid and comfort to our nation’s enemies. At least, that is the constitutional definition.

Obama has committed treason by weakening our nation to the point where our enemies have indeed been comforted, our allies and friends confused and angered and he has destroyed us as a superpower. That does not take into account the misery he has heaped on we the people. He has betrayed our trust and to me, that is also treason.

At the least Obama is a tyrant, a dictator and a despot. He has “fundamentally changed” America from a representative Democratic Republic into a federal dictatorship or if you prefer, a Nazi/socialist nation. He didn’t do it alone. He did it with the willing help of his Progressive/Democrat/Liberal pals in the media and Congress.

Our Founders considered government a necessary evil to protect its citizens from lawlessness, chaos, tyranny and anarchy. God inspired the Founders to give us a Constitution to deliberately bind down the government while guaranteeing our individual rights to live our lives as free as possible from government intervention.

If you believe in God as the source of good you must also believe in evil and the source of evil is Satan, Lucifer – the devil. Christian doctrine indicates that evil is always opposed to good; Satan is always opposed to God. So if God inspired the Constitution, Satan has led his demons to oppose it.

God offered us freedom and liberty. Satan offered Communism and Socialism and Obama has given us tyranny – the exact opposite of God’s plan.

Hillary for President?

It appears Hillary Clinton wants to be our next President and Commander in Chief of our military. Please God, NO!!!

Both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are bottom-feeders in the cesspool we call Washington, D.C. They join other bottom-feeders such as NY Sen. Chuck Schumer (who wants your guns banned), Nev. Sen. Harry Reid, who has virtually single-handedly kept Republicans from advancing legislation and CA Sen. Nancy Pelosi whose very appearance and voice make me nauseous. There are several other bottom-feeders, including some Republicans, who fit the bill but for now let’s concentrate on Hillary.

Obama’s signature piece of legislation is so-called Obamacare (Affordable Care Act or ACA) which has no small part in seeing his approval rating slide to 39 percent. Yet few remember Hillary’s failed attempt to implement her husband’s version of Universal Health Care in 1993. If Hillary is made president you may rest assured further pressure to allow the federal government control over 1/6 of our economy will come from a Hillary White House. Instead of Obamacare, we will be saddled with Hillarycare. Do we really want that?

Here are a few additional strikes against Hillary.

First; Hillary will more than likely promote the homosexual agenda as evidenced by these quotes: “It should never be a crime to be gay.” “Gay rights are human rights” and “Being gay is not a Western invention. It is a human reality.”

Second; Hillary will probably continue her belief in and to implement European style Socialism in America. In her own words: “I am a fan of the social policies that you find in Europe” and “We are at a stage in history in which remolding society is one of the great challenges facing all of us in the West.”

Third; Hillary will probably continue to use the taxing power of the federal government to bludgeon people rather than to raise revenue. “Many of you are well enough off that the tax cuts may have helped you. We‘re saying that for America to get back on track, we‘re probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We‘re going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good.” Remember, one of the planks of the Communist party is “From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.”

Fourth and most importantly in her own words Hillary demonstrated an utter lack of concern about American lives during and after the terrorist attack on our embassy in Benghazi, Libya: “With all due respect, the fact is, we had four dead Americans! Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided they’d go kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make? It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again.”

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) said Hillary should have been fired as Secretary of State due to her lack of response during the Benghazi terrorist attack: “Had I been president at the time, and I had found that you did not read the cables from Benghazi, you did not read the cable from [Libyan Ambassador Chris Stevens], I would have relieved you from your post.”

South Carolina Rep. Jeff Duncan told Hillary during the Jan. 23, 2013 hearings on the attack; “Madame Secretary, you let the consulate become a death-trap and that’s national security malpractice.”

Nelson Mandela Hero – NOT!

Sick of the mainstream media’s slavish praise for former South African President Nelson Mandela and his ex-wife Winnie? I am.

Even our government, or should I say Barack Obama, has jumped on the bandwagon with this proclamation: “President Obama has ordered all flags throughout the United States of America lowered to half-staff immediately, Thursday, December 5, 2013 until sunset on Monday, December 9, 2013, as a mark of respect for the memory of Nelson Mandela.”

What I am about to say will probably bring me a lot of criticism but it is well researched and true.

Mandela was an unrepentant communist. Not a card-carrying member of the Communist Party but a sympathizer and advocate of totalitarian government in general and communism in particular.

But don’t take it from me, take it from his own lips as written in his book:

How to be a Good Communist – by Nelson Mandela (“Great Statesman”)

In his public statements and speeches Mandela is always critical of the democratic countries of the west, but has nothing but praise for the remaining communist dictatorships of the world. He condemns mistakes and controversial policies of the west, but refuses to publicly condemn the genocides and brutal repression of current or former communist countries; he is supposedly a “champion of freedom and democracy”, the “hero of oppressed people everywhere” but considers dictatorships like Cuba and Libya shining beacons of freedom and justice. He said a lot in his book that described his love for and belief in communism. Here are a few excerpts.

Many of his apologists optimistically claim that Mandela may well have had “communist leanings” in his past, but that he has since put all that behind him and become a moderate in his political beliefs. They are perhaps unaware of his fulsome praise of a communist dictatorship as late as 1991 when he and Winnie went to what they called their “second home” – Cuba – to celebrate the communist revolution with Fidel Castro. In his speech Mandela said: “Long live the Cuban Revolution. Long live comrade Fidel Castro… Cuban internationalists have done so much for African independence, freedom, and justice. We admire the sacrifices of the Cuban people in maintaining their independence and sovereignty in the face of a vicious imperialist campaign designed to destroy the advances of the Cuban revolution. We too want to control our destiny… There can be no surrender. It is a case of freedom or death. The Cuban revolution has been a source of inspiration to all freedom-loving people.”

It is widely promulgated that Mandela was imprisoned for life for opposing apartheid. That is simply not true. He was given a life sentence (later released after serving 27 years) for advocating the violent, revolutionary overthrow of the South African government.

He was himself originally incarcerated, not for his political views, but for involvement in 23 different acts of sabotage and conspiring to overthrow the government. He and his fellow conspirators of the ANC and the South African Communist Party were caught by the police while in the possession of 48,000 Soviet-made anti-personnel mines and 210,000 hand-grenades!

Here is a list of this communist’s crimes against South Africa:

• One count under the South African Suppression of Communism Act No. 44 of 1950, charging that the accused committed acts calculated to further the achievement of the objective of communism;

(a) the health or safety of the public;

(b) the maintenance of law and order;

(c) the supply and distribution of light, power or fuel;

(d) postal, telephone or telegraph installations;

(e) the free movement of traffic on land; and

(f) the property, movable or immovable, of other persons or of the state.

And then there’s Winnie Mandela. Far from being the icon the progressive/liberal media’s fawning adulation wants the public to see, the reality is Winnie (Winnie Madikizela–Mandela) is a convicted kidnapper and directly responsible for murder and other heinous crimes against people.

Her reputation was damaged by such rhetoric as that displayed in a speech she gave in Munsieville on 13 April 1986, where she endorsed the practice of necklacing (burning people alive using tyres and petrol). She said, “with our boxes of matches and our necklaces we shall liberate this country.” Further tarnishing her reputation were accusations by her bodyguard, Jerry Musivuzi Richardson, that she had ordered kidnapping and murder. On 29 December 1988, Richardson, who was coach of the Mandela United Football Club (MUFC), which acted as Mrs. Mandela’s personal security detail, abducted 14-year-old James Seipei (also known as Stompie Moeketsi) and three other youths from the home of a Methodist minister, Rev. Paul Verryn, claiming she had the youths taken to her home because she suspected the reverend was sexually abusing them. The four were beaten to get them to admit to having had sex with the minister. Seipei was accused of being an informer, and his body later found in a field with stab wounds to the throat on 6 January 1989. In 1991, she was convicted of kidnapping and being an accessory to assault in connection with the death of Seipei. Her six-year jail sentence was reduced to a fine on appeal.

The final report of the South African Truth and Reconciliation commission, issued in 1998, found “Ms Winnie Madikizela Mandela politically and morally accountable for the gross violations of human rights committed by the MUFC. “It concluded that she had personally been directly responsible for the murder, torture, abduction and assault of numerous men, women and children, as well as indirectly responsible for even larger number of such crimes. In 1992, she was accused of ordering the murder of Dr. Abu-Baker Asvat, a family friend who had examined Seipei at Mandela’s house, after Seipei had been abducted but before he had been killed. Mandela’s role was later probed as part of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission hearings, in 1997. She was said to have paid the equivalent of $8,000 and supplied the firearm used in the killing, which took place on 27 January 1989. The hearings were later adjourned amid claims that witnesses were being intimidated on Mandela’s orders.

In my opinion the world is well rid of the Mandela curse.

Liberals and progressives are sometimes good for a laugh

Here’s a real belly-shaker for you. A pointy-headed college professor, Jonathan Zimmerman, at New York University (NYU) has publicly proclaimed all our nation’s woes would be resolved if only we would amend the Constitution and give Obama a third term as president. http://www.thecollegefix.com/post/15481/

Wow! This professor must think the voting public is stupid. Well, given the public’s acceptance of Obama and his other ridiculous political “victories,” maybe they are.

Victories? Well, we still don’t have resolution on the Fast and Furious fiasco. Obama also has thus far managed to avoid getting dirty with the Benghazi, Libya terrorist attack and the murder of four Americans, including our ambassador. He has enabled the National Security Agency (NSA) to establish a series of super-computers which are being used to spy on Americans. And let’s not forget Obamacare which is nothing less than an attempted takeover of 1/6 of our national economy and is rife with presidential lies. I guess one could call them victories for socialism but definitely NOT victories for the American people.

Zimmerman has called for an amendment that would remove all presidential term limits.

Zimmerman would give this horrible excuse of a president a third or even possibly a fourth term to continue the destruction of our Constitution and country.

The questions are; should be cry over his “victories?”; marvel over his audacity?; or laugh in amazement at the ignorance of his supporters and especially Professor Zimmerman?

I think we should all get a good laugh then re-double our efforts to rid our government of all the egg-head progressives and liberals and outright socialists, like Obama.

America has been fundamentally changed

Remember that campaign promise from Obama? “We are going to fundamentally change America,” Obama said.

That promise is one of the few he has kept and boy, what a terrible price our country and ultimately all Americans are paying for him keeping that pledge.

Obama, with the imposition of Obamacare and most recently cheering while sycophant Nev. Sen. Harry Reid invoked the so-called nuclear option in the Senate thus installed a tyranny of the majority. The voice of the minority, in this case, Republicans and Independents, has been stifled if not silenced. He has changed America from a Democratic Republic into a tyranny – a dictatorship.

The people have effectively lost their voice in government

In the movie “The Patriot,” Mel Gibson’s character, Jonathan Martin said, “Why should I agree to swap one tyrant three thousand miles away for three thousand tyrants one mile away?”

Good question because we now have thousands of tyrants in the form of petty bureaucrats and politicians and one big tyrant who is currently occupying the White House.

What is a tyrant? What is tyranny? A tyrant is a sovereign or other ruler who uses power oppressively or unjustly, according to dictionary.com. A tyrant is someone who rules by causing suffering to the people and land they preside over. They care only about themselves and how to attain more power and wealth, usually through exploitation of the region’s resources and the detriment of its population. I’m sorry all you Democrats, but that describes Obama and his loyal inner-circle of Democrat followers to a “T.”

Reid and his fellow tyrants complain that the Republican minority are obstructionists and are keeping the Democrats from having their way. Well, that is why our Founding Fathers instituted three separate but supposedly equal branches in the Federal system. They wanted the three branches to oppose each other in order to PREVENT tyranny of the majority.

We fought a revolutionary war against England to eliminate the tyranny of King George III. By changing the senate rule supposedly to limit or stop the filibuster, however they made it possible for a simple majority to rule, thus instituting the tyranny of the majority. They can now change the rules, even the law, with 51 votes, totally shutting off any protests from the House of Representatives – the people’s voice.

Equally important it allows the Democrat majority to appoint judges to federal district courts. Not the Supreme Court, but the Federal bench in Washington, D.C.  This is the court that literally decides what cases the Supreme Court will hear. Thus, legal challenges to Obamacare and other legislative decisions of the majority will be buffered from judicial review. The nuclear option now allows even more and more dangerous judicial tyranny.

As I suspected would happen, the attention of the media has been shifted to the horrible “deal” we made with Iran. Sec. of State John Kerry is making the rounds bragging about the deal even as our allies, especially Israel, are cringing in fear that Iran will develop a nuclear weapon within months. Remember North Korea and all the deals we made with them? Within months of the deal North Korea detonated several nukes.

In February 2012, North Korea announced that it would suspend uranium enrichment at the Yongbyon Nuclear Scientific Research Center and not conduct any further tests of nuclear weapons while productive negotiations involving the United States continue. This agreement included a moratorium on long-range missiles tests. Additionally, North Korea agreed to allow IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) inspectors to monitor operations at Yongbyon. The United States reaffirmed that it had no hostile intent toward the DPRK and was prepared to improve bilateral relationships, and agreed to ship humanitarian food aid to North Korea. The United States called the move “important, if limited,” but said it would proceed cautiously and that talks would resume only after North Korea made steps toward fulfilling its promise. The United States has long claimed it will not negotiate with terrorists. Well, guess what, we just did and once again we lost the negotiations. And in so doing we have focused our attention on terrorists half a world away and lost sight of the terrorists in Washington. Well done, Obama.

Let’s really shut the government down

To heck with pussyfooting around shutting down parks, museums other public landmarks. If the president and Congress really want to shut the government down, let’s go for the jugular. Here are a few suggestions that will shut parts of the government down, save taxpayer money and in my opinion, make America better and stronger.

1. A shutdown carries with it a mandatory 90-day length. Let it last long enough to hurt.

2. Shut off all aid, including humanitarian and military aid to foreign governments. A shut-off is permanent until the government shutdown ends. No retroactive payments later.

3. Don’t shut off Yellowstone, the Statue of Liberty, the Smithsonian Museum or any other national treasure. Instead, shut off Congressional, Presidential and Supreme Court Justice’s pay. None of them get a check for at least 90 days. They won’t get retroactive pay either. They lose the money.

4. Don’t touch veteran’s or Social Security benefits. We have, after all, paid into those programs and deserve the payouts. Do stop food stamps and other welfare giveaways – especially to illegal aliens or others who have never paid taxes.

5. Stop payments to all cabinet members and “Czars.”

6. Stop payments to the United Nations.

7. Forbid the IRS from collecting taxes, even retroactively after the government shutdown ends.

8. Ground Air Force one and two and forbid the use of any other military aircraft for presidential or congressional travel. Let them stay in Washington and get their house in order.

To me the concept of a government shutdown is simple. Park rangers, secretaries and others of that stature are not the government. They are employees of the government. If Congress and the President can’t come to an agreement and force a shutdown of the government – then shut down the government. Don’t punish the employees of  the government.

The rape of the 4th Amendment to the Constitution

Many people of my generation remember, or have read about the abuses of the Stasi, or East German Secret Police, the KGB or Soviet Secret Police and of course the infamous Gestapo, the Nazi Secret Police.

These were not legitimate police agencies as Americans envision police. They were, instead agents of terror designed to keep the people of Europe compliant with the wishes of their dictatorial masters.

The British in pre-Revolutionary War days were more blunt and to-the-point. They simply forced the colonists to house and feed, or quarter, British soldiers in their private dwellings. This effectively stifled dissent against King George along with colonial free speech and privacy.

To counter-act British abuses and prevent future abuses such as those later imposed by the Nazi’s, Soviets and East Germans, American colonists insisted on a provision in the newly-written Constitution aimed, in part, at guaranteeing privacy. Known today as the 4th Amendment, it is elegant in its simplicity. It says, simply:

“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

Like the other nine original amendments, the 4th was designed to severely restrict government intrusion into the affairs of private citizens and expand and strengthen the freedom and rights of the people. But somehow, government at all levels, failed to get the memo. The federal government seized on the terrorist attacks that took place on Sept. 11, 2001 to rush through Congress legislation known popularly as the PATRIOT ACT.

There is nothing patriotic about the PATRIOT ACT.

The result is unchecked government power to rifle through individuals’ financial records, medical histories, Internet usage, bookstore purchases, library usage, travel patterns, or any other activity that leaves a record. Making matters worse:

The government no longer has to show evidence that the subjects of search orders are an “agent of a foreign power,” a requirement that previously protected Americans against abuse of this authority.

The FBI does not even have to show a reasonable suspicion that the records are related to criminal activity, much less the requirement for “probable cause” that is listed in the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution. All the government needs to do is make the broad assertion that the request is related to an ongoing terrorism or foreign intelligence investigation.

Judicial oversight of these new powers is essentially non-existent. The government must only certify to a judge – with no need for evidence or proof – that such a search meets the statute’s broad criteria, and the judge does not even have the authority to reject the application.

Surveillance orders can be based in part on a person’s First Amendment activities, such as the books they read, the Web sites they visit, or a letter to the editor they have written.

A person or organization forced to turn over records is prohibited from disclosing the search to anyone. As a result of this gag order, the subjects of surveillance never even find out that their personal records have been examined by the government. I remind everyone reading this of a comment by James Madison who is known as “The Father of the Constitution,” and later as the 4th President of the United States. Madison said: “If tyranny and oppression come to this land it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.”

Anyone looking for tyranny and oppression in America need look no further than the PATRIOT ACT which was hurriedly passed to fight Islamic terrorism (a foreign enemy if there ever was one.)

There are, however, other despicable acts of tyranny going on today. I refer specifically to the Utah Data Center which I wrote about HERE.

Smaller, but no less important violations of the 4th and 2nd Amendments are ongoing as I write this and have been more or less ignored by the major media. Fortunately, some of them have been captured on video. I call the first video “Throw grandma to the ground.”

The next video is a National Guardsman admitting he has been given orders to fire on anyone, specifically American citizens who won’t surrender their weapons peacefully. This is a warrant-less seizure, specifically forbidden by the 4th Amendment.

In the following video a common citizen says aloud that he was a victim of an illegal search and seizure.

On May 5 at around 9:30 a.m., several teams of Pima County, Ariz., police officers from at least four different police agencies armed with SWAT gear and an armored personnel carrier raided at least four homes as part of what at the time was described as an investigation into alleged marijuana trafficking. One of those homes belonged to 26-year-old Jose Guerena and his wife, Vanessa Guerena. The couple’s 4-year-old son was also in the house at the time. Their 6-year-old son was at school.

As the SWAT team forced its way into his home, Guerena, a former Marine who served two tours of duty in Iraq, armed himself with his AR-15 rifle and told his wife and son to hide in a closet. As the officers entered, Guerena confronted them from the far end of a long, dark hallway. The police opened fire, releasing more than 70 rounds in about 7 seconds, at least 60 (actually 13) of which struck Guerena. He was pronounced dead a little over an hour later.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department initially claimed Guerena fired his weapon at the SWAT team. They now acknowledge that not only did he not fire, the safety on his gun was still activated when he was killed. Guerena had no prior criminal record, and the police found nothing illegal in his home. Clearly, the Fourth Amendment is under assault at all levels of government. Unless the American citizenry awakens to this danger and begins demanding the rights the Amendment protects be restored, one of the fundamental underpinnings of our very Liberty will vanish, perhaps permanently. We must jealously defend all the safeguards written into the Constitution that are designed to protect us from run-away government.
