Beware the claw of the eagle

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize that guns don’t kill. Guns are merely tools that can be used for good or evil.

Government getting total control of guns is the most dangerous problem facing Americans, but gun control is only a surface issue. The real issue is people control. Think I’m kidding?

The federal government is using eco-terrorism and the courts to control farmers and food production, to seize productive farmland and damage if not destroy our farms and croplands.

On May 8, 2000, Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity exposed a classic example of eco-terrorists and the federal courts teaming up to hurt farmers – and everyone who eats fruits and vegetables.

FNC correspondent Ainsley Earhardt told Hannity: “California’s Central Valley is considered by many to be the richest and most productive farmland in the nation. But this land is being threatened by the small, harmless-looking minnow called the delta smelt. Recently, it has landed on the endangered species list, causing a federal court to shut down vital water pumps to farmers to help preserve a minnow.

“Republican Congressman Devin Nunes estimates that 37,000 jobs have been lost due to the smelt issue, and that number is rising higher by the day (and could hit 80,000 agricultural jobs lost.) And in one town in California, unemployment is already up to an astonishing 40 percent,” Earhardt reported.

Aug. 6: Massachusetts State police shut down the stand of a 12-year-old refugee from Fukushima, Japan, who was selling green tea he brought with him when he and his family evacuated after the tsunami.

Aug. 1: Police officers in Coralville, Iowa, ordered at least three sets of children to quit selling lemonade during the Register’s Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa unless they first got a vendor’s permit and a health inspection. This is the first known example of a coordinated set of shutdowns at a single time.

July 19: In McAllen, Texas, authorities shut down a girl’s lemonade stand for failing to obtain a food permit and threatened a grandmother who protested with a $50 fine.

July 17: Police in Appleton, Wis., inform children that despite legally selling lemonade and cookies in their front yard during an annual city festival for the past several years, a new city ordinance bans these sales. The reason? To protect licensed vendors from competition. How’s that for a great example of how America works?

July 15: Cops in Midway, Ga., shut down a lemonade stand some children were running in their own front yard, saying the kids had to obtain a peddler’s license and a food license and pay $50 per day for a temporary business permit.

June 16: A county inspector in Maryland closes kids’ lemonade stand and fines parents $500 for violating county law.

June 10: The Philadelphia Department of Health shuts down a lemonade stand operated by a cancer charity because it lacked a necessary permit and — get this — didn’t install a hand-washing station.

March 7: Officials in Hazelwood, Mo., said a cookie stand in a family’s driveway violated local ordinances and ordered an end to the Girl Scout’s cookie sale.

Feb. 26: Georgia police demanded the closure of a Girl Scout cookie stand until the girls obtained a peddler’s permit.

Feb. 26: Savannah, Ga., officials determined that city ordinances require an end to a 40-year tradition of Girl Scouts selling cookies outside the historic home of the organization’s founder.

Raw milk producers are also faced with federal government wrath

A yearlong sting operation, including aliases, a 5 a.m. surprise inspection and surreptitious purchases from an Amish farm in Pennsylvania, culminated in the federal government announcing this week that it has gone to court to stop Rainbow Acres Farm from selling (raw milk) to willing customers in the Washington area.

“It is the FDA’s position that raw milk should never be consumed,” said Tamara N. Ward, spokeswoman for the FDA.

Raw-milk devotees say pasteurization, the process of heating food to kill harmful organisms, eliminates good bacteria as well, and changes the taste and health benefits of the milk. Many raw-milk drinkers say they feel much healthier after changing over to it, and insist they should have the freedom of choice regarding their food.

Many food safety researchers say pasteurization, which became widespread in the 1920s and 1930s, dramatically reduced instances of milk-transmitted diseases such as typhoid fever and diphtheria. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says there is no health benefit from raw milk that cannot be obtained from pasteurized milk.

It matters not whether the surface issue is raw milk, Girl Scout cookies, Japanese green tea, lemonade stands or guns, the real issue is if we will give up our Republic to federal control. Or even more simply, will we give up our liberty for a federal dictatorship?

Is it too late to save our Republic? It may be and I don’t say that lightly. Anyone who watches the Military Channel will be shocked at the advances our military has made in futuristic weapons. For example: A missile that fires a metal rod at 3,500 miles per hour. It will destroy a heavily-armored tank and totally obliterate any humans inside. By obliterate means they will be vaporized – nothing will be left; machine guns and Gatling guns that fire many thousands of rounds a second.

We should continue to defend our 2^nd Amendment rights, but let’s face it, if the federal government ever turns our own military against us, like it did in the Civil War, the civilian population will be horribly out-gunned and that doesn’t even consider air-power.

The one-world, progressive crowd says it would prefer a bloodless takeover, but they do intend to win at any cost.

Anti-gun fanaticism rises to fever pitch following Connecticut school shooting

The slaughter of 20 innocent children and seven adults, by a gun-wielding nut-case at an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut, has already brought out anti-gun fanatics and Constitution-hating liberals. I predict an even more well-orchestrated chorus of anti-gun articles and videos will continue flooding the airwaves and internet.

They will re-hash the same tired old arguments; mainly that guns should be registered and some types of guns, namely so-called assault rifles should be banned. They will again argue that 20-shot magazines should be banned and that high caliber guns are not needed for hunting.

Along with most Americans I too am shocked and deeply saddened by the senseless murder of so many innocent children and even the adults. I do not, however, blame the guns, the clips or the caliber of the weapons used. I blame the system that did not recognize the shooter’s mental condition and the adults in his life that didn’t prevent his access to weapons. I also blame the Washington establishment and the national media. For days after the most recent massacre, the media seems fixated on destroying the Second Amendment, an integral part of our Constitution. Our president Obama seemed to struggle to make his lower lip quiver as he squeezed out apparently dry tears at a memorial for the victims. I must ask, where was the emotion from Obama when a Muslim jihadist executed un-armed U.S. soldiers at Fort Hood?

Guns are used for hunting, target shooting and self-defense. What is left out – ignored – and when the fact is recognized – scoffed at and ridiculed – is the FACT – that the primary reason for the Second Amendment, is to allow Americans the unalienable RIGHT to protect ourselves from the government.

I don’t know what the schools of today are teaching our kids about American History, but in my day we learned about The Shot Heard Around the World. As a refresher, may I remind everyone the shots were fired by the Colonial Militia when the army of King George tried to disarm the colonists. In perspective, the king’s attempt at gun control led to an immediate armed response and ultimately, American independence.

It also led to the Second Amendment which is enshrined as an unalienable RIGHT in the Constitution. We must protect ourselves against the government.

Obama supporters threaten to riot or even assassinate Romney if Obama loses

A large number of us prayed and hoped that President B. Hussein Obama would be defeated in the 2008 election. Unfortunately, Obama won and began the most divisive and destructive four years in U.S. history.

Mitt Romney, (R) former Mass. governor, is now challenging Obama for the presidency and has a very good chance of winning.

Many Obama supporters are hysterically flooding the Internet with absolutely rabid claims that the only way Romney can only win is by cheating. That same element in the Democratic Party has openly threatened to riot if Romney wins and some have even proclaimed they will attempt to assassinate Gov. Romney. SOURCE1. I certainly hope the results of the election won’t lead to race rioting and attempted assassinations. But at least the threats clearly reveal one thing – there could be violence. We have been warned, now it is up to us to be prepared. I find it interesting that the second video is promoted by Michael Moore and is produced by moveon.org, a George Soros outfit.

Is it fear or is it caution? Texas Judge says beware of civil war if Obama is re-elected

A Lubbock County Texas judge is warning of what he calls a ‘civil war’ and possible invasion by United Nations troops if President Barack Obama is re-elected.

Judge Tom Head is convinced that an Obama re-election to a second term would lead to a revolt by the American people and he is pushing a tax increase for the district attorney’s office and the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office. He says the money is needed to “beef up” its resources in case Obama wins the November election.

In the event of civil unrest Judge Head said he’s concerned the President would hand over sovereignty of the United States to the U.N. and that the American public would react violently.

These are Army troops training for riot control – typically a police function.

“He’s going to try to hand over the sovereignty of the U.S. to the United Nations (and) what’s going to happen when that happens?” Judge Head told FOX 34 in Lubbock.

“I’nm thinking worse case scenario,” Judge Head explained. “Civil unrest, civil disobedience, civil war maybe…we’re not just talking a few riots or demonstrations.”

The West Texas judge’s proposed tax increase is to help the sheriff’s office hire a law enforcement large enough to protect the county and to drive away the invaders.

“I don’t want rookies,” Head said flatly. “I want trained, equip(ped) and seasoned veteran officers to back me.”

The republican judge said that he himself will meet the enemy, “in front of their armored personnel carriers” to tell them they are not welcome, and has the county sheriff to back him up. “I don’t want U.N. troops in Lubbock County,” he said. SOURCE

Could we be looking at militias being formed within the military? Militias with the avowed goal of assassination of the president and the takeover of the government?

Don’t laugh. A recent article by the Associated Press, published on The Hill blog, claims some Army soldiers formed a militia group in Georgia that plotted to overthrow the U.S. government — and they killed a fellow soldier and his girlfriend to keep the plot secret

The group of former and activity duty U.S. service members spent at least $87,000 on guns and bomb components, prosecutors said.

The anarchist allegations emerged Monday during the trial where four soldiers are accused of killing former soldier Michael Roark and his 17-year-old girlfriend Tiffany York, to stop their plan from being revealed.

“This domestic terrorist organization did not simply plan and talk,” prosecutor Isabel Pauley told the judge. “Prior to the murders in this case, the group took action. Evidence shows the group possessed the knowledge, means and motive to carry out their plans.”

The militia group’s name is F.E.A.R., which stands for Forever Enduring Always Ready. Prosecutors did not know how many members the group had, according to published reports. SOURCE

BUT WAIT! There’s more. If such fears exist over an Obama election, what fears could some Americans be harboring in the event he loses the election?

Are we looking at a possible race war? A labor union uprising coupled with a nation-wide occupy movement? Whatever may happen the federal government is busy preparing for some type of rebellion.

This is a police SWAT team. Sure looks military to me.

The Department of Homeland Security has bought more than a billion rounds of ammunition, which many fear is a sign the federal government is preparing for civil unrest in the United States.

DHS officials have been making preparations for what looks like a civil war.

In addition to the billions of rounds of bullets, the DHS has been ordering riot gear, bulletproof traffic-stop booths and even more bullets — .357-Magnum rounds capable of shooting through walls. SOURCE
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has put in an order for 46,000 rounds of .40-caliber hollow-point bullets. SOURCE

Ask yourself, what possible reason could there be for the federal government to arm weathermen and women?

First it was the Department of Homeland Security, then it was the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and now the Social Security Administration is set to purchase 174,000 rounds of “.357 Sig 125 grain bonded jacketed hollow point pistol ammunition.” that will be delivered to 41 locations across the country. The CATO Institute, a right-leaning think-tank, recently published a paper which includes a discussion of expanding federal police power.

Since the 1980s the federal government has prompted the militarization of federal, state, and local law enforcement. That militarization has led not only to well-publicized disasters, such as Waco and Ruby Ridge, but to a widespread increase in violent law enforcement, which has played a major role in alienating Americans from their government. Such baleful consequences are the result of another dangerous trend, the expansion of the power of federal criminal justice far beyond its legitimate constitutional limits. Law and order begin at the top; the most important criminal justice reforms that Congress can enact are those that return federal law enforcement to its constitutional role.

More Army troops training for police duty.

The Constitution specifically authorizes federal enforcement of only three types of laws, all of which involve uniquely federal concerns. The first is based on the congressional power “To provide for the Punishment of counterfeiting the Securities and current Coin of the United States.” The counterfeiting enforcement power immediately follows the delegation of power to Congress to “coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin.”

The second congressional criminal power is “To define and punish Piracies and Felonies committed on the high Seas, and Offences against the Law of Nations.” The third is, “Congress shall have Power to declare Punishment of Treason.” Although counterfeiting, treason, and piracy clearly involve areas of federal, not state, concern, it is notable that, even in those cases, the authors of the Constitution felt a need specifically to authorize congressional law enforcement.

While the body of the Constitution grants only narrow criminal powers to the federal government, the Bill of Rights, in the Tenth Amendment, specifically reserves to the states all powers not granted to the federal government.

Madison, Hamilton, and Jefferson were right to recognize that law enforcement is properly a local matter. As former attorney general Edwin Meese put it, “Federal law-enforcement authorities are not as attuned to the priorities and customs of local communities as state and local law enforcement. In the Ruby Ridge tragedy, for example, would the local Idaho authorities have tried to apprehend Weaver in such an aggressive fashion? . . . More fundamentally, would Idaho officials have cared about two sawed-off shotguns? In the Waco situation, would the local sheriff’s department have stormed the compound, or instead have waited to arrest David Koresh when he ventured into town for supplies, as he did frequently?” SOURCE

Here’s some more food for thought. The law of Posse Comitatus forbids the government from using the military against our civilian population. But if the feds arm most of the bureaucracy and train them in military and police tactics, they won’t need the military to effectively solidify their dictatorial grip on our nation. And in the event that doesn’t work the government is preparing for military action against We The People.

Obama on business – a satire

Remarks recently made by Presidential usurper B. Hussein Obama have caused an uproar amongst Republicans as well as independents and probably one or two honest Democrats.

“If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help,” Obama said. “There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”

As if by magic our entire rail and highway system sprang into place the instant the Constitution was ratified. No taxes were required for this miracle – the government simply fired up the printing presses an voila – money gushed forth. With a slight re-writing of history, it also explains how the Native Americans either fled to Mexico or Canada or voluntarily confined themselves to reservations.

The federal government is hasty to provide aid to cities suffering from natural disasters such as hurricanes, floods, fires and tornadoes. Now we know why. Since the federal government rather than private investors built the cities the federal government is, of course, obligated to rebuild them.

The Wright brothers did not invent heavier-than-air flight. Somebody else did that for them. Henry Ford did not create the assembly line, somebody else did the work for him. Ford simply took the credit. All the inventing, building, creating and re-building the federal government has done helps explain the $15 + trillion national debt.

And I’m sure that somewhere in the heartland a farmer, hearing Obama‘s declaration, leaned against his tractor, wiped the sweat from his brow, shook his head and said, “Well Glory be. If I knew how simple it is to farm I would have avoided all the sweat and worry about crop failure and just laid back and let somebody else do it all for me.”
