Gun grabbers handed a major defeat in Louisiana

Although most of this article deals with New Orleans, the reader is reminded that plans to institute martial law and unconstitutional gun seizures are national in scope. What we saw in New Orleans could easily be replicated in New York, Chicago or any other metropolitan area.

Voters in Louisiana will have the final say, but if lawmakers have their way the state’s 2nd Amendment will be strengthened. The proposal, which will be on the November 6 ballot for voter approval, will limit the ability of the Legislature and other arms of government to restrict the right to carry guns.

This is a statewide constitutional amendment but needs to be looked at by other states. The statewide issue was precipitated by events in New Orleans in 2005. At one point in the following video, a national guardsman admitted that he would fire at dis-armed American citizens if the need arose.

Troops told to fire on American citizens

The state of Louisiana is thus taking a major stride toward stripping gun grabbers of their power at the local, state and national level. A recent article in The (New Orleans)

Times-Picayune newspaper said, “With the backing of the influential National Rifle Association (NRA) and Republican Gov. Bobby Jindal, State Sen. Neil Riser, R-Columbia, pushed the measure to put Louisiana law in line with recent U.S. Supreme Court cases that struck down local weapons bans. Riser said the additional state protection is needed to clarify Louisiana law and protect gun owners from the actions of future lawmakers and jurists.”

The Louisiana Senate approved the language of the measure with a 34-4 vote. The new amendment, if approved by voters, gives future gun measures the benefit of “strict scrutiny” which ensures government must have a compelling interest before regulating constitutional rights and that any limits must be narrowly tailored.

Such action was desperately needed to avoid situations such as the one described by Susanna Gratia Hupp. She also explains the real meaning of the 2nd Amendment.

Jindal released a written statement after the vote: “We are adopting the strongest, most iron-clad, constitutional protection for law-abiding gun owners. It’s our own Second Amendment, if you will, and I look forward to voting for this amendment in the fall.”

The bill drew overwhelming support throughout the session, with critics coming almost entirely from among black Democrats.

Some at the local, state and federal level are using unconstitutional methods to strip citizens of their right to self defense. Most notably are the efforts to deny state laws collectively called “Stand Your Ground.” Gun grabbers demonize “Stand Your Ground” by referring to it as “shoot first” laws and claim it has led to an increase in murder.

Along with New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Representative Carolyn McCarthy, Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY) is at the forefront of an effort to roll back the Second Amendment and deny citizens the right to defend themselves. He has attempted to enforce gun laws by linking the exercise of the Second Amendment to terrorism and has pushed consistently for outlawing “assault weapons.” Schumer has also worked to close down the so-called “Gun Show Loophole” that allows sales of firearms without asking permission from the Attorney General and the federal government.

Because of gun-grabbers like Schumer, the Louisiana legislation is urgently needed. That is born out by the series of gun-grabbing incidents in New Orleans during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Upon orders from former police chief Eddie Compass (Democrat), under the direction of former Democrat Gov. Kathleen Blanco and former Democrat Mayor Ray Nagin, the New Orleans gun roundup began. Thankfully, the nightmare of a city gripped in martial law, the suspension of 2nd Amendment rights, and illegal searches and seizures was video-taped.

The NRA filed a series of lawsuits that forced the city to return all the guns, but some were destroyed, some lost and some stolen, probably by police.

The following videos are a chilling reminder of the importance of the 2nd Amendment when government clashes with its citizens.

Homosexual sex, drugs and murder in the land of Obama

Since Obama was never fully vetted by the lame-stream media during his initial presidential campaign, it falls on bloggers and other media to expose the presidential usurper.

Obama has repeatedly dodged the issue of his land of native birth and his “natural born“ status. He also has a history of association with radicals, socialists, anti-American activists, gay and lesbian communities and communists. Obama seems to be linked to every left-wing extremist group in the country.

Recent allegations have arisen claiming Obama is either gay or bi-sexual. If the allegations are true, the trail of murdered men that littered his rise to national power make him complicit, or at least the recipient of the benefits, of the murders. If the allegations of his homosexuality tendency’s are false, the dead bodies are simply coincidence.

Another such allegation came to light on May 11, 2012 when an article was published by The Ulsterman Report. The report contains a “shocking tale of Barack Obama’s behavior following a high profile Chicago gathering of Democratic Party elites shortly before Obama won election to the Illinois Senate.”

The report links Obama with a murdered gay church choir conductor and school teacher. The church was Trinity United Church of Chicago where Obama maintained membership for 20 years. The murdered man was Donald Young.

I strongly urge all my readers to read the entire Ulsteman report HERE.
